The Bid Transfer button

Add it once. It enters your saved WidgetBid bid into your own PBS session, line by line, while you watch. You log in. You submit.
Bid Transfer
Drag this button up to your bookmarks bar. Do not click it here.

Add it to your browser

Chrome or Edge, on a computer. Show the bookmarks bar with Cmd+Shift+B on a Mac or Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows, then drag the red Bid Transfer button above onto it.

Safari on a Mac. Show the Favorites bar under View, then drag the button onto it.

Safari on an iPad. There is no drag. Press Copy the code above, bookmark this page, open your bookmarks, press Edit, choose this bookmark, and replace its address with the copied code. Rename it Bid Transfer.

Using it, the first time

  1. Build your bid at widgetbid.com and press Save snapshot on step 8. That saved bid is what the button reads.
  2. Log into PBS yourself, the way you always do, and open Bids.
  3. Click Bid Transfer on your bookmarks bar. A small WidgetBid window opens with your saved bid, and a panel appears at the bottom right of the PBS page. The window asks you to sign in only if this browser is not signed in to widgetbid.com already.
  4. Press Dry run first. It highlights and narrates every line and clicks nothing. Then Fill my bid enters the lines for real, at human pace, with Pause and Stop on the panel. You review every line in PBS and you press Submit.

Starting over, or a fill that stopped half way. Press Clear bid & fill in the WidgetBid window instead of Fill my bid, or Clear & restart in the panel on the PBS page if that window is closed. Either one holds at the top until your PBS bid is empty: you press Delete All in PBS and confirm it, the tool re-checks, and only then does it enter your lines from line 1. It will not fill on top of a bid you asked it to clear. It never presses Delete All itself, the same as it never presses Submit.

If your browser blocks the WidgetBid window. The panel on the PBS page offers a paste box instead. Press Copy for Bid Transfer on step 8 at widgetbid.com, paste the sheet into that box, pick the bid month, and press Dry run. Everything else is the same.

What it never does

It only fills the middle. Every line it enters is a line you built and saved. Read the bid in PBS before you submit it, the same as you would if you had typed it in yourself.

Bid Transfer

by WidgetBid. You log in. You submit. This fills the middle.
Open this from the Bid Transfer button on your PBS tab. This window supplies a bid to the PBS tab that opened it, so on its own it has nothing to do.

Log into PBS yourself, open Bids, then click Bid Transfer on your bookmarks bar. Need the button? Add it here.

That tab is not a PBS bid page. Bid Transfer only hands a bid to the PBS site itself. Nothing was sent.

Hard rules, in code: this tool never clicks Submit (a denylist on every click, and the whole PBS header strip is refused), never sees your PBS password, and runs only on the tab you clicked it on.
1. Log into PBS yourself and open Bids. 2. Your newest saved bid loads here; sign in only if this browser is not signed in to widgetbid.com already. 3. Dry run first: it highlights and narrates without clicking anything. 4. Fill my bid enters your lines with visible highlights and a Pause and Stop panel; anything it cannot map, you enter yourself from that panel. 5. Clear bid & fill does the same, but waits at the top until your PBS bid is empty: you press Delete All, it checks, and only then does it start at line 1. Review every line before YOU submit.
