This is the standing notice that applies to every part of WidgetBid, every figure it displays, and every bid it produces. It supplements the Terms of Service.
WidgetBid does not guarantee that you will be awarded any trip, line, day off, reserve status, or schedule. Awards are determined solely by your employer's bidding system, applying your collective bargaining agreement, staffing requirements, legality rules, and the bids of every pilot senior to you, under conditions that change until the run executes.
Feasibility grades and percentages, seniority projections, emulator runs, fall-through analysis, commute scoring, and pay figures are planning aids computed from published data and past outcomes. They are not predictions and not results. Historical patterns do not repeat reliably: staffing, vacancies, training, trip construction, and the behavior of other bidders all move month to month.
The emulator shows how a bid would be walked under modeled rules. It is not the official scheduler and its output is not an award.
Nothing in the Service is legal advice, contract interpretation, tax advice, or financial advice. Contract language, pay rules, and scheduling regulations are summarized for convenience and may be incomplete, simplified, or out of date. Your collective bargaining agreement, your employer's published rules, and applicable regulations govern. For contract questions, your union representative is the authority. For legal questions, consult an attorney.
WidgetBid is not an official record of your schedule, your bid, your seniority, your pay, or your award. The official record is whatever your employer's systems hold. Where the Service and an official system disagree, the official system is correct.
Data is parsed from published materials and loaded on a monthly cycle. It may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Datasets may be corrected, replaced, or withdrawn without notice. Always confirm the month, base, equipment, and seat shown before relying on anything, and verify critical figures against the source you receive directly.
You are responsible for reviewing every bid before you submit it, for meeting your own bid deadlines, and for ensuring your use of the Service complies with your employer's policies and any collective bargaining agreement covering you. We make no representation that use of the Service is approved by any employer or union.
The disclaimers and limitations in Sections 12 and 13 of the Terms of Service apply to everything on this page and are incorporated by reference.
